Sales Engineer for Indonesia (m/w/d)

About the Division

As part of a team of 50 engineers and sales support staff, you will advise and assist our existing international clients on new projects and project extensions, while also proactively pursuing tenders related to the energy and water sectors with a focus on the Indonesian sales region. In addition to this, you will offer our high-quality consulting services to potential new clients.

Your tasks

  • Continually monitor the market situation and identify new markets in the Indonesian sales region
  • Draw up and cost proposals in close cooperation with our technical experts
  • Present proposals to prospective clients and negotiate these with confidence
  • Provide technical advice and support to our existing clients
  • Be responsible for establishing contacts with and acquiring new clients
  • Contribute to developing new consultancy solutions

Your Profile

  • You have completed your degree with an above-average grade, ideally in an engineering subject related to the energy or water sector
  • You have a clearly structured way of thinking and the ability to explain complicated topics in an easily understood way
  • Ideally, you have experience of working in sales in an international context
  • You possess business fluency in English, while also having knowledge of German would be an advantage
  • You have strong communication skills and are flexible and open to new topics
  • A persuasive demeanor, intercultural interest and a willingness to undertake occasional business trips round off your profile
  • You display a willingness to undertake occasional business trips around Indonesia
